Petrified Wood Slices. Cross-section slices of Petrified Wood stumps, polished one face. The slices are 5 inches to 7 inches in diameter and weigh approximately half a pound. These slices are sold by the pound. You will receive 10 pieces of product. Further discounts apply for quantity purchasing. Slices within this group include some resin stabilization. Some pieces are even glued together during the stabilization process, and carefully ground and polished to give a nice finished product. These product is a natural fossil, and our process brings out the natural beauty in Petrified Wood. Slices within this grade are not broken and then repaired.
